Help maintain trails at Redwood Park in the Community Forest, Saturday

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) The city of Arcata’s Environmental Services Department and the Humboldt Trails Council Volunteer Trail Stewards are searching for volunteers to help maintain trails within the city’s community forest.

Participants will maintain trails, between Redwood Park and 14th Street along with the lower trails in the community forest, by removing invasive plants and performing basic trail maintenance.

Volunteers will meet at 9 AM at the parking lot located at the east end of 14th Street.
