Mad River Alliance host clean-up, Saturday

Blue Lake, Ca., (KIEM) The Mad River Alliance will host its August Mad River Clean-Up in Blue Lake.

Those who would like to participant will need to meet at the Logger Bar in Blue Lake.

The community group’s conservation committee states, its goal is to organize safe and educational river clean-ups to work towards improving quality of life in the community. Also for community members to see first-hand the littered trash in the watersheds.

The clean up is sponsored by Green Diamond Resource Company.

Coffee and bagels will be provided before the clean-up.

Gloves, bags, and buckets will be provided for the clean-up.

The Mad River Clean-Up will be on Saturday, August 24 from 8:30 AM to 12 PM.
