Humboldt County Fair attendance on track to be up from last year

FERNDALE, Ca (KIEM) – With the beautiful weather, attendance at the Humboldt County Fair was a success this year. They may even beat last year’s numbers. With all of the Carnival Rides, Fair Food, and livestock events. Many families flocked to Ferndale. The best part? There was something for everyone. From kids to teens and adults to enjoy.

Last year around 70,000 people attended the Humboldt County Fair. The fair manager says their attendance record is on pace to bring in more people this year.

“Attendance is up. We’re probably up five or six percent prior to Saturday. So I think the numbers are pretty wrong. Total numbers we won’t know until after the weekend. Right now we’re a little bit ahead of last year’s pace,” said Richard Conway Fair Manager.
