Humboldt State University Welcomes Back Students to Their First Day Back on Campus

ARCATA (KIEM) – School is back in session for students at Humboldt State. The warm weather made it a good day for students to welcome back the fall semester.

The campus was buzzing with students heading class, reuniting with friends, or simply enjoying the sun. Various clubs were also out on the University Quad tabling.

Humboldt State University senior Luis Melendez says, even though he has early morning classes, he is excited to be on campus and can’t wait to see what the school year brings.

HSU says, this year’s freshmen class is projected to have over 800 students, but the final numbers will be released next month.
