Coffee with Captains Held at Bayshore Mall, EPD Hears Concerns from Store Owners and Businesses

EUREKA (KIEM) – Coffee with Captains was a little different this month.

Eureka Police met with not only residents of the area, but also spoke with stores that are housed in the mall. EPD even came to the mall thirty minutes before it opened so they could hear concerns from store owners.

Police say, it was a good chance to hear from managers and hear their problems, such as store theft.

But EPD did hear some new concerns from residents too. Including speeding, car break-ins, and safety issues.

Captain Brian Stephens says, Coffee with a Captains is a good chance to hear from everyone in the community.

The next Coffee with Captains is at Old Town Coffee and Chocolates in September.
