PacOut Green Team receives donation from community fundraiser

ARCATA, Ca (KIEM) – Pacout Green Team receives a $3,700 donation from HealthSPORT after they raise funds from a community forest run.

They were chosen to be the beneficiary for this year’s Kevin Ebbert Memorial Trail Run. It was put on by HealthSPORT and Kevin’s family. The event is to honor Kevin, a local boy who went on to become a Navy SEAL.

Pacout Green Team will use the funds by keeping the beautiful outdoor spaces litter-free throughout their weekly 60 minute cleanups.
