Lime Fire burning in the Klamath National Forest, now at 1100 Acres

Klamath National Forest, CA., (KIEM) Firefighters in Northern California continue to fight a wildfire that was caused by a lightning storm.

The Lime Fire burning in the Lime Gulch Area of the Klamath National Forest. West of i-5, and north of Highway 96, is now at 1,100 acres.

Currently, there is 174 personnel helping to put out the wildfire; including three helicopters, and seven dozers.

Fire officials say additional resources are expected to be added in the next day or so.
