City aims for In-N-Out Burger to be completed by end of year

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM) If you haven’t heard already an In-N-Out Burger is coming to the city of Eureka.

Passing Vigo Street off of Broadway you may have noticed bulldozers and hard hats.

Construction crews are working effortlessly to complete the popular fast-food chain.

The establishment will also have, a Chipotle Mexican Grill, and Mod Pizza; along with two other retail tenants, attached.

According to the city, construction is still in its early stages but development should be completed hopefully at the end of the year or sometime in early 2020.

“In-N-Out Foundation is currently being excavated and they’re working under slab plumbing and electrical,” said Eureka Public Works Director, Brian Gerving. “The city’s really hopeful that this is a good anchor for redevelopment along that Corridor of Broadway. There’s no doubt about the fact that the site has been a blight in the past and we’re looking for this to really redevelop the area.”

Crews began demolition work at the end of May of this year.
