Humboldt Bay Fire Participates in Sacramento 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

Sacramento, California (KIEM) — In honor of those who lost their lives on September 11th, Humboldt Bay Fire participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in Sacramento.

Seven Humboldt Bay Fire crew members made the trip to the Capitol and shared a photo of the event on their Facebook page.

Each firefighter climbed 110 flights of stairs and carried the names of one of the fallen 343 firefighters during the climb. They thanked others for honoring firefighters and first responders that lost their lives 18 years ago.
