Humboldt Wildlife Refuge Remembers Hero Richard Guadagno on September 11

LOLETA, Ca. (KIEM) – September 11th is a day that forever changed the United States. It’s also a day where we remember the people who died in the tragic in the attacks.

The Humboldt Bay Wildlife Refuge honors and remembers the lives of the one of the victims.

Richard Guadagno served as a manager at Humboldt Bay Wildlife Refuge. At the time of the attack, Guadagno was on United Flight 93. It was believed and several passengers attempted to subdue the hijackers.

A memorial site is dedicated in his name for his heroic efforts and service to his work.
