Inmate Walks Away From Mendocino Conservation Camp

MENDOCINO COUNTY (KIEM)– The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Officials are searching for an inmate who walked away from a conservation camp in Mendocino.

According to authorities, 31-year-old, Johnathan Washington, was discovered missing from Chamberlain Creek Conservation Camp around 12:30 this afternoon.

Washington was last seen at the camp at 8 a.m. wearing a grey sweatshirt, white t-shirt and white tennis shoes.

The 31-year-old is described as a black male, 6-foot-4, weighs 2-hundred and seventeen pounds, with brown eyes, black dreadlocks, and a goatee and mustache.

Anyone who sees inmate Washington should contact 911.
