Eureka Fashion Week 2019 Comes to the North Coast

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — New York Fashion Week wrapped up and London’s is just kicking off, but here on the North Coast, people are able to show off their style at Eureka’s very own fashion week.

Humboldt county may not follow national fashion trends, but it has a style all its own. That’s what the co-chair of eureka fashion week wanted to highlight at this year’s inaugural event.

It all kicked off with a show in Old Town where models strutted their stuff and showed off clothes from local businesses. Stores and restaurants are also offering special deals.

If you want to get in on all the fun, you can pick up one of the fashion passports. Where you get points for visiting, bringing a friend, or buying something from a local store. Then you’re entered in a raffle to win merchandise or gift cards from one of the participating businesses.

It’s all about encouraging people to shop local and also remind residents of all the great businesses that are in town. You can still take advantage of all the Eureka Fashion Week deals at participating businesses up until September 20th.
