Missing McKinleyville man found safe

MCKINLEYVILLE, CA (KIEM)-An elderly man reported missing earlier in the month has been found safe.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s office said 77 year-old Stanley Conner was located and is back home.

Conner wandered away from his McKinleyville residence back on September 11. He was reportedly spotted at the Les Schwab tire center in McKinleyville and at the Arcata Red Roof Inn shortly after he left.

The sheriff’s office wants to thank the public for their assistance in the efforts to locate Conner.
