Two Men in Custody Following Humboldt County Drug Task Force Investigation

King Salmon, Ca. (KIEM) — Two men are arrested after a Humboldt County Drug Task Force investigation in the King Salmon community.

Agents observed 61-year-old William James Clark of Eureka meeting with an unknown Hispanic male for a suspected narcotics deal. Clark was known by the task force for having an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

Agents followed him to the 500 block of Herrick Avenue and took him into custody. He was in possession of roughly 3 ounces of heroin. The man Clark met with was later identified as 25-year-old Jesus Mauricio Felix from Sinaloa, Mexico.

A search warrant was served and agents located nearly 30-thousand dollars inside his vehicle. The money is believed to be profits from narcotics sales. He originally gave agents false identification. Felix has outstanding warrants from San Bernardino county for narcotics violations and is being held pending extradition.
