Timber Heritage Association gives Steam Train Rides

FORT HUMBOLDT, Ca (KIEM) – All aboard. The Timber Heritage Association gives Steam Train rides at Fort Humboldt.

Spectators got to witness how an 1884 Falk logging locomotive operates. The engine burns the firewood to keep chugging. This model train was used to design some of the trains in the cartoon, Thomas the Tank Engine.

Adults take a ride with their kids, so they understand and know how historic Humboldt County is.
