DHHS to host Water Efficiency Workshop

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM) The Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services wants you to conserve water.

DHHS Division of Environmental Health will host a Water Efficiency Workshop to introduce changes regarding water-saving strategies.

DEH staff will provide information about the city’s water systems. As well as answer questions about Eureka’s newly adopted Waterless Toilet Systems Ordinance.

A representative from the International Cannabis Farmers Association will also be at the workshop offering information on water conservation in cannabis farming.

The workshop is scheduled for Thursday, September 26, from 2:30 to 3:30 PM at 5630 South Broadway in Eureka.
