Humboldt Bay Fire Ramping Up Fundraising Efforts for Memorial

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — Humboldt Bay Fire was out at the Friday night market showcasing their plans for the future fallen firefighter’s memorial. They had a table set up outside of the Clarke Historical Museum.

They were there accepting donations and also had some fun stickers and firemen hats for kids. Humboldt Bay Fire is looking to raise $40,000 for the memorial, and construction will begin as soon as they reach that goal. To top it all off, the artist who will construct the memorial was out talking to the community about his vision for the project.
