Burn Scheduled in Redwood State Park

Don’t be alarmed if you see smoke in Redwood State Park tomorrow.

CALFire’s Humboldt-Del Norte Unit will be conducting a controlled prescribed burn in various areas of Bull Creek and Grasshopper Mountain.

The burn location in the state park will be approximately five miles east from the Weott Community.

Grass and Brush are scheduled to be burned on 400 acres of ranch land if weather conditions permit it.
