AHHA Receives Mobile Shower Station Unit

HUMBOLDT COUNTY (KIEM) – They’ve finally arrived! The mobile shower stations and Care-A-van is complete!

The Affordable Homeless Housing Alternatives or AHHA received their final piece of their care unit.

The shower made the long trip all the way from Illinois. Despite the ongoing public safety power shutoff last week, AHHA managed to receive their shower unit.

With the final piece here, AHHA plans to provide services in Eureka, McKinleyville, and Arcata. But they hope to expand to the rest of Humboldt County.

Their goal is provide at least thirty showers a day for those who need it.

AHHA says, they hope to start rolling out shower services by next month.
