22-year-old arrested in connection to murder of Indiana Man

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM) New developments surrounding the death of a man who was assaulted near the 400 block of Third Street in September.

Homicide investigators have identified the suspect as 22-year-old Connor Whited.

Whited was booked into Humboldt County Correctional for the murder of Indiana man, Brett Keiling.

Police say the investigation revealed that this was not a random act of violence and Keiling was the intended target of the assault.

Whited is in jail on a $1 million bond.
