PG&E on Watch for Another Power Shutoff

PG&E is keeping a close eye on weather and wind conditions that could lead to high fire danger risk.

The utility company is considering another public safety public shutoff and is expecting this one to be significantly smaller than the one from earlier this month.

Portions of Sierra Foothill and North Bay Counties could be impacted, Humboldt Count is not included this time around.

At this time no shutoff has been initiated and PG&E will provide updates several times a day.

If initiated, the shutoff will last 18-24 hours from Wednesday evening through mid-day Thursday.
