CHP Looking for Hit and Run Suspect

MCKINLEYVILLE, Ca. (KIEM) – The California Highway Patrol is on the look out for a hit and run suspect.

A 16-year-old girl was struck at the intersection of Winchester Ave. and McKinleyville Ave.

The victim was crossing the street on her skateboard when a white, four door sedan struck her knocking her to the ground.

After the collision the car drove around the victim and fled the area traveling westbound on Winchester Ave.

The driver is described as a white female in her late 30’s with blonde hair in a bun or ponytail.
