Arcata Community Relief Center open to public during Shutoff, additional locations

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) A Community Relief Center is open to the public.

The relief center in Arcata will reopen on Sunday until power is restored.

According to the city of Arcata, PG&E will be offering additional support at the CRC beginning Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM and daily until power is restored.

United Indian Health Services will also be providing space to charge phones and medical devices tomorrow from 10 AM to 4 PM.  As well as the Arcata Community Center from 10 AM to 6 PM.

For residents outside of Arcata, PG&E will have community relief centers at the following locations:

McKinleyville at Pierson Park

Blue Lake at Blue Lake Rancheria

Willow Creek at the US Forest Service Big Rock Day Use Area

Fortuna at Firemen’s Pavilion

Hoopa at the Neighborhood Facilities Building and Tribal Offices.
