Big Blue Café in Arcata catches fire

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) In Arcata, a local business catches fire.

Fire crews were dispatched to the Big Blue Café in Arcata where smoke was reportedly visible from the building around 4 this afternoon.

Fire crews used a latter to access the top of the roof to assist with the fire.

A neighbor who works next door says they believe the fire was started by a generator the café was using, but we have not confirmed that information

At this time the cause is unknown.
