Charging Stations Open for Electronics and Medical Devices

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — For those in the dark that are looking to charge their devices, there are multiple charging stations set up around eureka and are open to the public.

For electronic devices, the Eureka Municipal Auditorium on F Street is up and running. Residents were there charging up their phones or laptops.

For those needing to charge their medical devices, Humboldt Bay Fire opened up the Rob Bode classroom at 3030 L Street. People were able to come in, charge everything up, enjoy some snacks. There was also medical staff on hand to answer any questions.

According to the Humboldt County Office of Emergency Services, many of the charging stations and other community care centers that are set up are sponsored by city agencies.
