Hsu Campus to Remain Closed, Classes Cancelled During Upcoming Power Shutoff

Arcata, Ca. (KIEM) — With another county-wide power shutoff likely on the horizon, the HSU campus will remain closed and classes canceled.

According to the university, the campus will be closed and classes canceled through the end of the day Tuesday, October 29th. Students, staff, faculty, and their families are welcome to eat for free at the dining hall during the shutoff. Parking on campus remains free.

College of the Redwoods also remained closed Monday and will provide an update on whether or not they will be open Tuesday.
