LOLETA (KIEM) – It’s the third round of power shutoffs this month. Now businesses like the Bear River Casino and Resort are stocking up on supplies and getting ready to have their doors open for the community.

The hotel has been preparing for these next set of shutoffs. The hotel says, they’re making sure their gas pumps are full, convenience store stocked, and their generators are up and running. In total, the facility has about 104 rooms. Over the last few days, Bear River Casino says, they’ve seen a number of resident’s checking in during the outage.

During the first round of shutoffs earlier this month, the hotel says there were able to support three to four times the volumes of customers who needed gas, food, and a place to stay.
