EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – The Department of Motor Vehicles will open its Eureka Office this Saturday, Nov. 2, for a special event.
REAL-ID Saturday is a special walk-in only event that starts from 9 am – 2 pm.
The office is offering this one-day only Saturday service to encourage residents to apply for a REAL-ID.
Starting Oct. 1, 2020, residents will need a valid passport or federally approved document, like a REAL-ID to board flights within the U.S..
The DMV also wants to remind residents the Eureka Field Office is changing locations to a temporary space in the Bayshore Mall while it looks for a permanent office location.
