Northern Humboldt County No Longer Included in Public Safety Power Shutoff

Humboldt County, Ca. (KIEM) — Northern Humboldt County residents can breathe a sigh of relief.

According to the Humboldt County Office of Emergency Services, from Fortuna North, residents will not be impacted by this round of public safety power shutoffs.

Some residents in Southern Humboldt lost their power earlier in the day on Tuesday. PG&E is monitoring another wind even Tuesday through midday Wednesday. Approximately 596,000 customers are expected to be impacted.
