Community Meeting for Last Chance Grade Update

Congressman Jared Huffman, Assemblyman Jim Wood and Senator Mike McGuire will be hosting the community meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds.

At the meeting, There will be a review of the Last Chance Grade’s progress, an update on environmental review and engineering work complete over the last 24 months. The highway south of Crescent City has experienced instability and roadway failure.

There will also be an update on the estimate timeline to break ground on the alternative transportation route.
