Man Arrested for Possession of Drugs

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – A 25-year-old Eureka man is in custody for possession of drugs and violation of his probation.

A CSET Waterfront Ranger found Thomas Applewhite near Waterfront Drive and the Samoa Bridge around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The ranger conducted a search on Applewhite after discovering he was on probation. The ranger found a knife, heroin and methamphetamine on Applewhite.

Applewhite was arrested for concealing a dagger, possession of a controlled substance, narcotics and violating his probation.
