Eel River Masonic Lodge Conduct “Cornerstone Dedication”

Fortuna’s Eel River Masonic Lodge, along with regional masonic dignitaries conducted a Cornerstone Dedication at the McLean campus today.

This foundation empowers communities in the eel river valley and Humboldt County by providing funding, leadership and support.

They bought the land about 3 years ago, and the project is now 97 percent complete.

The mason’s donated money to the McLean foundation for the project.

This is the 2nd cornerstone dedication sponsored by the masonic lodge.

During the event they talked about the construction of the project, the longevity, and what it’s doing for the community.

The cornerstone is dedicated in memory of Mel and Grace McLean for their lifelong commitment to the communities of the Eel River Valley and Humboldt County.

Dennis Scott, President of the McLean Foundation says that being with the McLean foundation for 20 years he is so proud of what they’ve been able to accomplish for the community.
