The eureka Walmart teamed up with the Salvation Army for their annual toy drive.
Today at 8:30 this morning the Salvation Army was set up at Walmart collecting toys for the Holiday season.
As customers walked in, volunteers at the event handed out flyers for the event, customers went in-started shopping–them coming back out and giving gifts to support the cause.
We stopped by to see how things were going and lot of donations had already made their way into the “stuff the bus” bins.
Toy cars, legos, dolls were just a few of the items bought for children and their families to enjoy.
If you missed the toy drive–there will be more opportunities for the community to donate.
Volunteers from the Salvation Army will be set up all throughout Humboldt County at participating locations, ringing those bells and bringing holiday cheer to all.
