Carlotta Women Injured Jumping from Truck

TRINIDAD, Ca. (KIEM) – A 27-year-old woman is injured after jumping from her boyfriend’s vehicle.

California Highway Patrol responded to the Patrick’s Point Dr. southbound 101 on-ramp around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9.

28-year-old Richard Dorey stated Lorena Reynolds jumped from his 2017 Ford pickup while he was driving and ran her over.

A preliminary investigation determined the couple from Carlotta had a verbal argument before Reynolds opened the passenger door, and jumped from the truck.

Officials transported Reynolds to Mad River Community Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
