CR Registered Nursing Program Approved

CRESCENT CITY, Ca. (KIEM) – The California Board of Registered Nursing has approved the College of the Redwoods registered nursing program.

Students who have completed LVN/Paramedic degrees can complete the new nursing program in three semesters starting Spring 2020.

The program will alleviate some of the critical nursing shortfall in Del Norte County.

CR has already started to notify students on the LVN/PMED waitlist and LVN’s who recently completed the program within the district about the approved program.

The new registered nursing program is expected to fill fast.
