Eureka Man Arrested For Possession, Sales of Methamphetamine

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM)– A Eureka man is behind bars for possession and sales of controlled substances.

Around 10 Monday morning, a waterfront ranger made contact with 52-year-old Todd Newby near the public restrooms on marina way.

The 52-year-old was taken into custody for a warrant.

Officers searched Newby and located 12 grams of methamphetamine in various packaging consistent with the sale of the substance.

Newby was booked for his warrant and for possession of a controlled substance for sales.
