Body Found in Southern Humboldt Identified as Missing Man

Salmon Creek, Ca. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Coroner’s Office has positively identified a male body found in Southern Humboldt as missing person Adam Daniel Mrozek.

Wednesday, Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies located a body believed to be Mrozek. According to HCSO, Mrozek was last seen at his residence on Thomas Road around 2:30 in the afternoon last Sunday. A roommate reported him missing Tuesday when he could not be located on the property despite his personal belongings and vehicle were still at the residence.

Official cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy of the body.
