Cowboy Canned Food Convoy this Weekend

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – The Backcounty Horsemen of California and Food for People are joining forces on Saturday, Nov. 23 at noon for the Cowboy Canned Food Convoy.

Non-perishable food donations will be delivered by pack train to the food bank of Humboldt County.

The event kicks off Food for People’s annual Holiday Food and Fund Drive.

The convoy will parade through Old Town from D St. at the Eureka Boardwalk parking lot before returning to unload their haul.

Families and children are encouraged to fee apples to the horses while the riders unload the donations.
