Henderson Center Holds Annual Holiday Open House

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) – This year’s annual holiday open house down at Henderson Center was in full swing Thursday night.

Henderson Center merchants are getting a head start on the holiday shopping season. With many businesses offering special sales and prize drawings for the event.

The event was full of lots of holiday fun. Those in attendance could line up at Tri Counties Bank to meet Santa, sit on his lap, and rattle off what they want for gifts.

There was live music and Christmas carolers belting out classic holiday tunes. Kids could meet characters from Disney’s Frozen and the Peanuts. People could enjoy some tasty treats like candy canes and hot chocolate. There was even some real snow for everyone to play in.

We spoke with the manager of Annie’s Shoes, who is also involved with the planning of the event, and she says there’s something for the whole family. Henderson Center holds this event every year on the third week of November.
