EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- The Eureka Rescue Mission helped those in need celebrate Thanksgiving a day early.
A warm Thanksgiving meal with all the helpings was whipped up by over 25 volunteers at the Rescue Mission.
The line was out the door with people eager to come in from the cold weather and eat.
Over 500 pounds of turkey was provided thanks to donations from the community and local business, along with potatoes, stuffing, rolls, and yummy desserts.
Around 300 people turned out to the facility with plenty of food to go around.
