Housing Element, PSPS After Action Report on Eureka City Council Agenda

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — The Eureka City Council is back to work Tuesday night at their monthly meeting just before the holiday season and New Year.

First up on the agenda, the council is holding another public hearing on the Eureka housing element, then will consider whether or not to adopt the updated housing element.

The council will also look to extend an agreement with Danco Communities for the development of the 7th and Myrtle senior affordable housing project, and approve a loan of $1,040,000 for the project.

City manager Greg Sparks is set to give a public safety power shutoff action report, as well. December will also be declared human rights awareness month in the city.

The meeting is Tuesday night at 6 pm in council chambers at city hall.
