HSU to Offer Admissions Scholarships to Arcata High School Seniors

Arcata, Ca. (KIEM) — Humboldt State University if offering a $4,000 scholarship to Arcata High School seniors that enroll as a freshman in 2020.

It’s part of the new Humboldt first scholarship that is guaranteed to students graduating from high school in Humboldt, Del Norte, Mendocino, and Trinity counties.

Arcata High seniors will be offered admission next fall, even if they have not applied yet, a new approach HSU is using this year. The scholarship is created with $250,000 in donations from alumni and others.
