Eureka, Ca. (KIEM)– Blood banks are in need of blood year around but this time of year is vital. School is heading on break and continuous donors are busy with the holiday season or out on vacation, leaving the blood banks with a growing desperation.
Wednesday was the 3rd year the Eureka Police Department has been involved in the Holiday Blood Drive and it is a way for them to help give back to the community who does so much for them.
For all those that donated, they have made it possible for the blood bank to have a supply that will last them into the New Year.
