Ugly Sweater Contest at Mad River Community Hospital

            ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – It just wouldn’t feel like Christmas without your traditional ugly sweater contest.

            And the staff at Mad River Community Hospital were ready to show there ugliest holiday sweaters off with a friendly competition of who wore it best.

            Marketing Manager, Vicky Sleight said that this annual tradition just gets crazier with each New Year, and it’s a great way to keep up the morale and just have fun with one another.

            Employees lined up, one after the other showing off there wacky get-ups and hoping to win the 1st place prize of $100.

            It was a close call, but there can only be one winner, and that lucky individual was Tina Wood who won the first place prize.

            Wood’s says she’s going to buy candy for her co-workers with the winnings.
