Mad River Rotary Club Donates $32,000 to Trades Academy Program

Humboldt County, Ca. (KIEM) — The Mad River Rotary Club donates thousands of dollars to the Trades Academy Program through the Humboldt County Office of Education.

At their annual fundraiser, the rotary club raised $32,000 through business-sponsored tables and donated auction items.

The Trades Academy delivers career technical education to schools by providing instruction and projects in an innovative mobile training lab. More than 60 industry partners have participated in students’ education, provided classrooms, real-world projects, and mentoring.
