Two Car Crash Causes Traffic Delays

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM)– A traffic collision in Eureka causes delays for North Coast drivers.

Monday around noon, a black 4 door sedan was making a right-hand turn onto 5th street when it collided with a silver vehicle heading straight on 5th.

Eureka Police Department says the black car had a signal to stop.

Two lanes of 5th street were blocked for roughly 30 minutes while crews cleared the scene.

No reports of injuries. Drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor.
