Crescent City Fire Puts Out Early Morning Structure Fire

CRESCENT CITY (KIEM) -Crescent City Fire is investigating a fire that broke out early Friday morning.

It happened just before 4 a.m. On the 400 block of Cummins Road. When fire crews arrived on scene, they found heavy fire burning on the residence and a car was also charred.

Crescent City Fire says, the home was reportedly vacant for years and there were reports of transient activity around the property.

Fortunately, no one was injured and the cause remains under investigation.
