Get Your Flu Shot at Humboldt County’s Public Health Center

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – It’s flu season and the Humboldt County Public Health Clinic wants to remind you to get your flu shot.

On Saturday, January 11 at the Humboldt County Library they were giving away free flu shots to the public.

You can always stop by the Public Health Clinic as well.

The flu changes every year so it’s very important to get the flu shot every year.

The flu is still the leading cause of illness over the winter season, so the public health clinic wants to emphasize the importance of getting vaccinated.

The CDC recommends everyone 6 months of age and older to get vaccinated every flu season.
