Family Shows Love and Support for Relative Headed off to Military

EUREKA (KIEM) – Just before the rain rolled in, one North Coast family gave a special send off to one of their own as they were off to serve their country. A group of family members stood on the Herrick Bridge and braved the cold to wish one of their own good luck.

Relatives stood and waited on the overpass as Ryan McClurg’s nephew departed for the military Monday morning.

The family says, they have a long history of family members who have served in the military.
