Stabbing Victim In Eureka Sent To The Hospital, Suspect Flees

Update: According to CHP, the victim and subject know each other and were walking together at the time of the incident. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM)– A man is sent to the hospital after a stabbing in Eureka.

Wednesday night around 5:30, the Eureka Police Department responded to the Chevron on Broadway for reports of a stabbing.

According to officers, a male victim was located with stab wounds. The male suspect fled on foot up Henderson, he is described in his 20s.

The stabbing victim was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.

This is an ongoing investigation.
